What is Bubble Wrap? 

Bubble Cushion is a sheet made from multiple layers of thin, flexible plastic, with air bubbles spaced evenly between the layers on either one or both sides of the wrap. Bubble Cushion is a packaging item that is often used to add an extra layer of protection to fragile items, usually while either being stored or transported.  

Does Bubble Wrap actually work? 

If used correctly, Bubble Cushion can minimise the risk of items being damaged during storage and transport. As Bubble Cushion is manufactured in various thicknesses you may be required to wrap the item you want to ship in a few layers to ensure optimal protection. 

To make sure you are getting the absolute best level of protection for your items, make sure to have the bubbles facing inwards when wrapping the item, then secure in place with tape.

Is it better to use Bubble Wrap or Packing paper? 

The choice to use Bubble Cushion or Packing Paper when making sure your items are safe and secure can be a tricky one! There is a range of pros and cons for each, so you need to ensure that you are weighing up all the positives and negatives when making your choice. 

Despite this, it is always a great idea to use both when moving! Some types of items must be specifically packed with Bubble Cushion, however if you need to save as much space as you can, for example, Packing Paper may be better suited for your needs.

1. CHOOSE BUBBLE TYPE

   Choose the bubble diameter, style of bubble and backing material.

2. CHOOSE BUBBLE WIDTH

   Starting at 1500mm, widths can be slit down in any combination totalling the full 1500mm. (eg. 750 + 750mm). 

3. CHOOSE PERFORATIONS

   Optional perforations can be manufactured into the bubble allowing easy tear off. (eg. perforated every 500mm.) 

4. CHOOSE CUSTOM BRANDING

A custom produced outer film can be adhered to your selected bubble cushion, displaying your brand logo, message and contact details in a range of colours.
